The college provides further educational opportunities to students aged 19-24 with moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties or autism. We run three Pathways, Vocational, Life and Living and Engagement for Life.
We are looking to employ a Café Assistant for our Students with excellent skills in liaising with employers. We are interested to hear from you if you have relevant experience in working with children or young adults with SEN.
The college is split into three pathways; Vocational, Life Skills and Multisensory. Vocational Choice is a two-year course designed for young people who have made the decision they wish to pursue employment on leaving education. They have demonstrated that this is a realistic option for them and are ready to develop the level of independence which will be needed.
Due to our rapid and continued expansion, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Café Assistant to work under the direction of the Café Manager. The ideal candidate will maintain a high level of customer service whilst supporting and training students to develop their working skills in a café environment. You will need to have experience of working as a Café Assistant. Experience having worked with young people who have severe learning difficulties would be desirable.

Actual Salary: £23,864 – £26,841 per year.
